Sav, the founder of Claw Me Daddy Nail Salon, is a licensed nail technician based in Dallas, TX, specializing in Russian manicures, dry cuticle care, and intricate hand-painted nail art. Her journey into the nail industry began as a personal hobby—she started doing her own Gel-X nails at home after being inspired by nail artists on TikTok. What began as a creative outlet quickly turned into a full-blown passion, with weekends dedicated to perfecting her technique.

At the time, Sav wasn’t in love with her job, and it was her partner who sparked the idea: “You love doing your nails so much, and you pretty much hate your job… why not do this full-time?” That suggestion flipped a switch. Determined to turn her passion into a career, she reached out to local nail techs for advice and toured several beauty schools before finding the perfect fit at ITS Academy in Denton, TX. She enrolled in night classes, fully committed to mastering the art of gel nails.

While still in school, Sav discovered a fume-free gel nail salon in Dallas and set her sights on working there. As soon as she earned her license, she applied and landed the job—an opportunity that allowed her to refine her skills under the mentorship of experienced nail technicians. During this time, she completed advanced training in Russian manicures, Polygel application, and structured gel techniques, as well as a High-End Cuticle Cleaning course taught by Erica’s ATA.

Though she loved working in the salon, Sav had always envisioned working for herself and one day running her own space. After eight months of working full-time in the salon, she took the leap and Claw Me Daddy officially came to life (though the brand name had been in the works long before nail school).

Sav’s mission is simple: to create flawless nails in a safe, comfortable environment where clients can trust her expertise. She believes in continuously leveling up her skills, taking advanced classes to ensure her clients always receive the best nails, with the cleanest cuticles and the most stunning, custom nail art. More than just a nail appointment, she wants every client to feel at ease—whether that means adjusting a color they don’t love, restoring their trust in e-file cuticle care, or simply offering a listening ear.

Looking ahead, Sav’s vision for Claw Me Daddy Nail Salon is to expand into education, mentoring new nail techs who are passionate about refining their craft. She hopes to build a team of artists who not only pass the vibe check but are also eager to push creative boundaries, master new techniques, and continue growing alongside her.
